On 2007-07-04, MN Golfer rated this Tour Edge Bazooka JMax 304 Stainless a 4...(7832)

Details: 52* MB(10* bounce), and 60* MB(7* bounce), standard loft/lie, factory velvet grips.

Purchase: I purchased the 52* from Austads on sale for about $33 last March. Liked it so much I jumped on a used 60* when I saw one at Nevada Bobs in June.
Pros: Both wedges are 304 stainless and share a very soft responsive feel, they are a nice bottom-heavy wedge (which is consistant with the Bazooka JMax QL iron set also), not like swinging a twig. Since I almost never take a full hack with a wedge, I really appreciate the consistant feedback on short shots. It will generate some spin, though not a bunch. There is no milling on the face but Tour Edge does offer a wedge with that option, I'm just not good enough to justify chewing up golf balls.
Cons: Nothing. I'm a big fan of Tour Edge anyway though, could be bias.
Quality: Solid, but as with softer stainless materials, they can ding up a little more than you'd like to see.

Review Summary: Very playable, very affordable option. There's a reason this club made the hot list when it came out.
