Purchase: I had been looking for a cavity backed Becu wedge to put in my bag for a long time. I love the heavier feel of a copper wedge, and was just way to inconsistent with the Cleveland 588 I was carrying. I was online and found these clubs at The Golf Coast for $54.99 ea. They look and play very similar to the old Ping wedges that were very popular in the mid 90's. They feature square grooves, and like I mentioned great feel and weight. I went with both the 56 degree SW and the 60 degree LW. They also have the clubs available in a carbon stainless steel finish.
Pros: With the look of the old style Ping wedges, they live up to the company slogan of, "it's just like an old friend." I can spin the wedges from the fairway and get great stopping power. (Gotta love those square grooves) The weight is absolutly perfect. I play a links style course, and these allow me to really get the ball up and out of the rough if I miss the fairway. The softer metal of Becu really increases my feel for shots, and really increases my confidence when I try finesse shots.
Cons: I'm still inconsistent with my distances. Part of that however is that I really need to spend more time on practicing than just taking them straight out to the course. There have been a few occasions where I have really unloaded on the ball, and notice that the clubs are longer than the ones I that I had in my bag.
Quality: The clubs look and feel great. Absolutly perfect.

Review Summary: If you are looking for a quality game improvement short game option, check these wedges out. I mistakenly thought using a forged wedge would turn me into a better short game player, and I have found that these clubs have increased my performance around the greens. I am consistently stopping the ball closer to the hole, and really feel a difference chipping and pitching close to the green.
