Purchase: Gift when played in LPGA Burger King Open pro-am in 1980's. Started to use them and found the mechanics to be very beneficial and the technology to be ahead of its time. Using them intermittantly ever since. Used to be called 'Mighty-Flighty' tee's I believe. Get lot's of grief... but that is good. Give's enjoyment to others!
Pros: Builds confidence. Lots of roll after landing. Used to get more backspin from driver than wedge. Not anymore. Problem is, occasionally I hit it through the fairway. Oh, well.
Cons: The more recent item seems to be less durable. I have run out of the ones that I have used for maybe 10 years and bought 5 more recently. Broke all 5 within 5 rounds. Do the same great things... but do not last as before. Wonder why?
Quality: See above. Durability is gone. Need to reevaluate construction material or process.

Purchase: $3.99 from Edwin Watts Golf Store. I have seen these tees used at my club. I had never tried any until recently. This was a good purchase.
Pros: The accuracy of this Golf Tee. I am blasting the ball of tee. I found that if I put the tee in the ground and step back about 5 feet then I can see when my shot is pointing. The result has been that I am hitting the ball much straighter. This is a simple but effective device. One of my buddies laughed until he noticed how often I was in the fairway. I made him go but his own. The Velocitee can help improve any ones accuracy.
Cons:
Quality: Very Solid. I used the same tee for 2 rounds of Golf. I found that the construction is super.

Review Summary: Use this tee. It works. Don't worry about any grief your foursome gives you for using this tee. You will be able to look back at them while they hit from the woods. Have fun.
