Purchase: I read some reviews on this site and said, what the heck, I could use some more distance. So i picked a 15 pack up at walmant for $12.86 Pros: This ball is very long! Also it wasn't as hard as I expected and a least for me I don't have a problem stoppping it. (I have a high trajectory and can even get some drives to stop dead.) Feels nice of the tee and long. Just got a Bang Mellow Yellow driver and I was hitting much longer with that But now on the course it's much easier for me to get distance. Lastly, There cheap. Cons: Nothing Quality: Seems good. I hit a cart path two different times with two different balls but each one held up good and only sustained minor scuffs. Review Summary: Long and cheap.

Purchase: I had a $10 store credit for the Sports Authority here in Roseville and needed balls so I decided that was the place. I picked up a box of 15 balls for $15.99 and since I paid only $6 out of pocket I figured I try something new. I have been looking at the Jack and the web site for a while, intrigued by what "for recreational" meant and figured now was the time to take a chance. Pros: Wow, is this thing long!!! I hit my first 300 yard drive out there. This was my best round every, broke 100 for the first time. I guess I am the prototypical recreational golfer cause this ball is for me. Quiet off the club and easy distance. I gained more confidence each hole. Cons: It took a while to adjust for the short game. Putting is very lively and you will get some distance with just a tap. But once you reset your feel expectations you can control this just fine. I have tried many low compression balls like the LoCo and this one is similar in that it can bounce and carry around the greens. But unlike the LoCo (which I still really like) this one was each to control and stuck the greens much more often. Quality: Even though I had a great round I did manage to find the sand a record three times. I blasted out just fine but did slightly scuff the ball. I wouldn't call them any less durable than an average ball. I played 18 with a sleeve of three (a really cool shrink wrap sleeve) and never felt the construction integrity was undermined. I had tried out some Stata Tours I got on eBay and those (aside from being impossible for me to control) cut much more easily. I call this a well constructed ball. Review Summary: Until I read about, find or am given a ball someone thinks can compete on both price and performance I think Jack Longball is my game. I love the price and thrill to the distance. Man, I love hitting the ball that long and straight. And the ball rolls for that extra yardage. I stick with my clubs and like to try different balls. The only other ball I liked this much was the Warbird but that one didn't come close on the distance. I was really surprised by this ball, but I guess my enthusiasm is showing, huh? Keep in mind I am a high handicapper with all that goes with it. If you're in my camp, try this ball out. I don't know about the other Jack breeds but this one performs as advertised. Have fun!
