Purchase: I purchased these at local K-mart stores after trying one borrowed from a friend that seemed great.
Pros: These are simply the best balls I've played. I tried everything from Pro V's at 45.00 to generic golf balls at 11.00 and these are the best in any price range. Even a slower swing speed player can get a 200 yd shot. Another advantage is that they seem to go straighter on average.
Cons: I didn't like the confusion over Wilson changing these balls and packaging several times. Some have black numbers and some have red but it seems the compression has all been the same.Even though they all seemed to play the same confidence is affected when you think they might be different. I hope Wilson still keeps this line and finally settles on some good info on them. The other thing is that you have to learn the most about them from other sites regarding marking, construction, compression etc. Wilson should have put this on their site.
Quality: The constructon of these is great also. They do not seem to cut and hold up extremely well.

Review Summary: These are way long and straight. I buy them over and over and hope wWilson sees the light and keeps them as a product line.

Purchase: Any golf store. Usually about a dollar a ball or less.
Pros: I don't know how I started playing with these balls, but I'm glad I did. Price has dropped a LOT since I started using them; if they had been as cheap as they are now, I probably wouldn't have tried them - I too snobish. Fabulous distance, excellent control. The balata version was really a "drop and stop" ball, but these stop pretty well, too. I'm the only person I know that plays them, but I'm glad I do.
Cons: Getting harder to find. Have to stock up.
Quality:

Review Summary: I can afford to play any ball, and I use Smart Core.

Purchase: I saw reviews on swingweight.com, so I wanted to try them.
Pros: LONNNNNNGGG STRAIGHTTTTTTTT, easy to putt. For 1.00 a ball. This ball out plays a lot of balls that are twice it's price. This is simply the best ball I've ever hit. I reached a par 4, 353yd green this morning. And I have a slow swing!!!! This ball is awesome
Cons: not much spin. But I have good loft on my shorter irons and wedges so that's no problem
Quality: excellent

Review Summary: A ball with no comtempories in it's price range, and no other ball in the mid-price range even come close, and some balls in the high price range don't even play as good. WHY did Wilson ever discontinue this ball! It's There best ball. I'm glad they brought it back!!!!!
