Purchase: Bought a dozen at Sports Authority for $29.00. Have been trying to find a replacement to the Strata Tour Ace since they took them off the market.
Pros: Solid and long off the tee, as well as with irons. The impressive thing to me was the stopping ability on short irons. Backed up several the last round I played with this ball. Solid feel off the putter face as well. May have finally found my replacement.
Cons: Several of my friends have commented on the shallow dimples. Not exactly an exciting ball to look at, but it is exciting when you are flying your buddies off the tee.
Quality:

Review Summary: Good golf ball, and I have tried them all: Titleist, Callaway, Nike, Precept U-Tri and PWRDRV, Hogan etc. Will be playing this awhile provided they don't take them off the market like with the Tour Ace.

Purchase: $9.00 for a sleeve
Pros: High flight trajectory. Long. Spin on iron shots.
Cons: Nothing.
Quality: Played 27 holes and the cover held up very well. Will use it until I lose it.

Review Summary: For the price of $29.99 per dozen, this ball cannot be beat. I have played with ProV1, and Callaway HX Tour. The TX4 beats all of them....no contest. I purchased these balls on the recommendation of a local golf store owner. I owe him one. After the first tee shot I could tell the difference. Incredible gain in distance with a high launch trajectory....and spin on the greens. Incredible!
