Purchase: GolfTown (Canada); $46 per dozen.
Pros: This is a first-rate ball -- long off the tee, offering control on the fairway and on approach shots. Also, the Tx4 has a nice feel: firm, but not hard like cheaper 'distance' balls. The trajectory is slightly lower than what you would get with much softer balls, but the nice surprise about this ball is that it has a great feel off the club-face, combined with excellent distance and very predictable performance characteristics. As tour quality balls go, this is right up there with the Titleist Pro-V1.
Cons: At $46 per dozen, it's unfortunate that the price point is somewhat high in Canada compared to the U.S., where the Tx4 retails for around $30 per dozen.
Quality: A 4-piece construction that provides a medium-firm feel, excellent distance, and nice control.
Review Summary: This ball makes for a very pleasurable round. The distance, performance and control you get is definitely worth the price. Like other tour-quality balls, you can tell the difference between the Tx4 and cheaper balls immediately, within the first couple of holes you play.

Purchase: My boss saw the article about them in last years Wall Street Journal and was intrigued by the write up and asked that I order some customized for corporate outings. I did and I used them and thought they were GREAT. Been using them ever since. Paid about $30/doz with our logo on them (volume discount boutght 12 doz) but pay $29 a doz out of my pocket
Pros: Low spin off driver, Long off tee and iron and man do they check up when you stick it with a wedge. THey are a GREAT ball. I like the dimple shape and Now that they brightened up the cover for 2006 over 2005 (and made them more durable) I find nothing wrong with them
Cons: My only complaint evidently was addressed this season. The 2005 balls were very 'old looking'. In fact during an outing one of my playing partners said, 'Gee how far could you hit a NEW ball instead of one of those old things your are hitting.' It was a brand new TX4. They also seemed to address the durability as well. As I could only get about 6-8 holes out of a ball before scuffing it to an unrecognizable off color orb.
Quality: See Above. It would appear my issues have been addressed by Wilson
Review Summary: Hope they don't do what always happens to me... Discontinue a great product I like.
Great ball - Good Price - Great Value.
