Purchase: Aquired from a golf shop on the Gold Coast Australia. Paid around $500aud but I bought the club site unseen. I had been looking for a club and saw some reviews on the club which promised a great deal and thought I would try it out. What did I have to lose ?
Pros: I have owned 6-7 different types of drivers and all of them were different to the last and each had slight idiosyncracies where I needed to alter my normal swing, ball position or ball height to maintain line and distance. This club looked great out of the box and nomal position, normal ball height and comfortable swing saw the ball long and straight and often. I have had longer hitting drivers but none with as consistent a distance and direction as the Deep Red.
Cons: So far the only thing I dislike about the club is that I can't use it for chipping and putting.
Quality: Looks a million dollars without costing it and for once a product that actually meets the hype that it has been given.
