Purchase: Bought this off onlinegolf.co.uk for £229
Pros: Smart looking and well made. Hits the ball straight.
Cons: Sadly not a patch on the original Deep Red driver. This club has gone back as it is certainly no better than my old Deep Red 305cc Hyper Ti grafalloy fatshaft. The head is a massive 450cc and offers no 'feel'. The only way to tell if you have really it long is by pacing out the distance until you get there. It's easy enough to hit and quite forgiving, but to get any sort of distance out of it you need a big powerful swing. The old Deep Red was so much easier to hit and you knew when you had middled it, even with a gentle swing. Also had a tendancy to inpart topspin on some drives which really killed distance. Sadly not for me, and I will be sticking to my old faithful Deep Red 305cc, now that is a great club!
Quality: Like All Wilson clubs it looks great and has a quality feel to it. No fatshaft on this one and the stock shaft is only OK.
