Purchase: After reading SEVERAL reviews, I narrowed my options down to the Deep Red and the Taylor Made 300 series. My final choice was made based on the look of the Deep Red. It is magnetic, you just can not take your eyes off of it. I bought my club at my local driving range for $200. I golf probably once every two weeks so I decided that I did not need the new Deep Red II and that the original Deep Red would be fine for me.
Pros: My drives have become much straighter. With the thin face, my drives have gone about 20-30 yards farther. The Fat Shaft is great after you get used to taking slower, less powerful swings. Even on off-hit ball you only lose about 20 yards. It has a nice looking cover. It would be a crime to leave out the fact that this club is the best looking club that I have ever seen.
Cons: I would have liked to buy the 12 degree loft but the retailer only had the 9 and 10.5 degrees in stock
Quality: Great quality. It comes from a great company.

Review Summary: Great club for the price that I got it at. It is amazing that more tour players do not use the Deep Red. PLEASE do not judge this club by its brand name. It is truly an amazing club.
