On 2004-03-05, Barry A Peralta rated this Wilson Fat Boy Driver 427cc a 3...(3016)

Purchase: like most people I sometimes think that my inability to get good distance on my driver may be because of my bad habits ,and like many Golfers sometimes well we don't have a great deal of money to spend on a hunch that it may be our club/driver that may indeed be at fault, well so I went out looking for a club the club Fitter asked how much I was looking to spend I explained to him no more than a hundred dollars or so thats when he showed me the Wilson fat Boy Driver Wood 427cc.
Pros: Well This Driver cost me a little more then one hundred dollars $115.99 when I brought this club home I played with it fora while it is made out of titanium composite and painted Blue and Gold a little loud for my taste but nicely finshed! the loft: was 10.5" length was 44.5" The Lie was 55" shaft flex R, Now I do not know a great deal about Graphite but the shaft was made out of UST ProForce Graphite.
Cons: What I did not like about the Wilson Fat Boy was the paint soon after I used it seemed to dull the Flex on the shaft said R for regular but was way to flexible and the Grip was very soft but after a while seemed tacky to the touch.
Quality: Outside of these minor cosmetics flaws the Wilson driver seemed very well built I have had it for a few months now with no problems other then the ones described ,the face of the Fat Boy Looks fine with no imperfections and there should be because I know I hit a few hard objects but no less looks good a Plus! the shaft which seemed a little soft for my taste has grown on me somewhat and looks fine so all in all I think the construction of the wilson fat Boy is very Good considering the Price versus the class of the club rated Recreational as opposed Premium rated drivers.

Review Summary: My Thoughts " well I wish I could say this Club Improved My Game Alas it did not But! my distance was improved with this Club as well as curve was diminished for $115.99 not a big hurt and you will never lose this club the Graphite is a bright yellow another Plus!:)
