Details: 2005 model , 3 'Titanium matrix' woods plus 7 irons . Regular factory steel shafts.

Purchase: Paid $300 Aust on e-bay. Bought them on repuation of Wilson 1200's which I have an old set of 1200 GE's. They have virtually no similarity.
Pros: The set came with 3 'titanium matrix' woods. I like the Driver 'ping' but the 3 and 5 play very 'dead'. Design style is ok.
Cons: It seems the Wilson 1200 name has been relagated to the beginner / intermediate doamin. I felt the performance of these new clubs was poor compared to previous Wilson 1200 clubs like the 1200 GE and LT. The chrome finish detoriated very quickly.
Quality: Just not up to what I expected from the Wilson 1200 name. The stainless cast irons dont have what I'd call a quality feel. The Driver 3 and 5 wood appear good but only the Driver has a 'ping' at impact. Material in 3 and 5 no doubt less quality.

Review Summary: I have been disappointed but should have realised by the price . Wilson 1200 GE's were about $1200 new in 1988 I think. $300 Aust now , lesson leant. These clubs are show Pony's really only for the very occasional golfer.
