Purchase: Local Pro for £290
Pros: There are two things you want a golf club to do, hit it straight and hit it long. These clubs do both. They are quite simply the longest clubs I've ever hit, giving me at least 1-1.5 clubs more. My golfing partner was so shocked at the increased length that he tried a few shots and the same happened to him. He is now seriously thinking about a set of these only a few months after buying a set of Maxfli revolutions. They go straight too. They are a game improvement club but feel very sweet when hit right. My handicap is 5 and I have no hang-ups about hitting a game improvement club. They are very forgiving especially in the long irons. The large clubhead sits very nicely behind the ball and with the fat shaft it gives you a lot of confidence. I've noticed that my swing has improved because I'm so confident with the club. All in all, I would recommend these irons to anyone.
Cons: Very little to complain about. The sand wedge is a bit large for my liking and may take a bit of getting used to but that's really being picky about things.
Quality: Fat shaft technology feels very solid. Only had them a few weeks, too short to judge.

Review Summary: Simply, the best irons I've ever hit.

Purchase: Local Golf Driving Range....$500
Pros: I demo'ed many clubs: Ping I3, Calloway Big Bertha and X14, Adams, TaylorMade, Clevland, Deep Red. No club was as consistent, long, accurate, forgiving than the Deep Red. I bought them and have not sacrificed anything but better scoring.
Cons: There is nothing I'd change. They work 'out of the box'.
Quality: I like the look at address. Its not too fat at the bottom (like the Calloway Big Bertha), its straight shaft looks elegant, as does the head.

Review Summary: I'd recommend these to try to anyone - regardless of handicap.

Purchase: Since the start of the season I had been unsatisfied with my iron play. I needed more distance and accuracy. I started evaluating all the high end iron sets on a simulator at the Golf Town super store in Montreal. I tried Taylor Made, Titleist, Callaway, Cleveland, Ping with mixed results. Then the salesman (an ex Wilson rep)suggested I try the Deep Reds.....WOW! These clubs were longer and more accurate than all the others.....on a simulator. Would I get the same results on the course? Only one way to find out, I bought them for the $845 sticker price.
Pros: I have been playing these irons for the last month. I'm at least a club longer all the way through the set. The ball comes off the face like a rocket with a fantastic solid feel and a great trajectory. The Fat Shafts really do deliver more stability and accuracy. Even my miss hits are closer to the target both for distance and accuracy. I had given up hitting my 3 iron with my old set but the Deep Red 3 iron is easy to hit with the same solid feel as the rest of the set.
Cons: There is nothing that I dislike about these irons. I changed the grips to Winn W6 for the soft and slightly oversize feel, but I did this at the time of purchase and not as a result of dissatisfaction with the stock grips.
Quality: The quality of these irons is in keeping with all top line clubs. The finish is impeccable. They look good in the bag and behind the ball.

Review Summary: I did not initially think of trying these clubs. I was lucky that the sales guy was an ex Wilson rep because these clubs are awesome. On reflection I think that Wilson has really come up with something with the Fat Shaft. All the heads on the different sets of irons have the same game improvement features.... deep cavity, wide soles, large face, perimeter weighting. Only Wilson has the Fat Shaft and I think that's the difference.

Purchase: I came across these Irons, at Colorado Golf and Tennis in Ft. Collins, CO. (shameless plug). I paid $749.00 for the set of 3-PW with graphite fat shafts. I tried many different sets, but these seemed to fit "just right"
Pros: Excellent Feel, Distance is extraordinary. I am a mid-high handicap, and these clubs have already taken 4 strokes off my game. The Fat Shaft technology works, it is no gimmick. The feel is excellent and the club is very forgiving. I have tried allot of clubs before I decided to purchase these, but unfortunatley I am not made of money. I know that these clubs are not cheap but they are still not as expensive as Callaways, or Ben Hogans. These clubs might not be for everyone, but I recommend that you go to your local pro-shop and give them a swing.
Cons: I am pretty much happy all the way around. I canno't find anything that I do not like.
Quality: As always these irons are built with the quality craftsmanship of all Wilson's high end golf equipment.

Review Summary: Best Clubs that you can find for the Money, if you are a mid to high handicapper.
