Purchase: How: Tried several mid range cost club sets at local dealers and friends who let me use their clubs. Where: eBay Auction Why: Like the feel and looks Cost: $300 +/- (+15.00 S&H)
Pros: The clubs are easy to hit and real forgiving for a novise, especially the 3 & 4 iron/wood combination. Clean easy with just a soft brush and/or towel.
Cons: The 3 and 4 iron/wood combination are a little tough to used in "higher" grass. Also, it is recommend to send the clubs to Wilson in order to have them adjusted for length and lie, so you have a waiting period.
Quality: Quality is excellent and weight distribution is very good.

Review Summary: The cost of the Wilson Fat Shaft III's are going down, but even at around $300-350 (eBay) this is still a good buy. If you are looking to up grade and do not want to spend hundreds of dollars for a "big" name brand set. I would strongly recommend these clubs. Would also recommend their "Deep Red" Series of Fairway Woods and Drivers
