Details: Black/Blue Midsize

Purchase: After 2 years, I decided to replace the Tour Velvet grips on my wedges. I had seen all the commercials claiming these grips performed well in wet conditions, so I decided to give them a try. I ordered the grips through Golfsmith for about $5.50.
Pros: As I was originally playing standard-sized grips with 3 wraps of tape, the midsize grip with firm underlisting was a welcome change--no more molding of the tape to my hand placement. The feedback on off-center hits was amazing as well. Summer play in Louisiana is usually rather humid, so the tack and feel of the grips was readily apparent. After playing one round with the wedges, I ordered a full set of replacement grips for every club in the bag. After two more rounds, I ditched my golf glove altogether. The feel and function of these grips are so good that, for me, they actually play better without a glove.
Cons: The grips are not very replacement friendly. I had a new driver assembled at my local clubfitter, but it was too long for me. When I took it back, I had to replace the brand new grip b/c they don't come off intact due to the underlisting splitting when air pressure is applied.
Quality: The grips come in multi-colors according to size, which adds a nice look to a set of clubs. Bag wear is more apparent due to the softness of the material and they should be cleaned frequently to guarantee best function.

Review Summary: The grips are absolutely amazing. They are well worth the money spent. My game has improved immensely since I started using these grips. The feedback on off-center hits forced me to hit my irons more precisely and thereby improved my shot-making and accuracy. Not needing a glove has taken away a minor distraction and yielded big benefits.
