Purchase: I purchased this putter from a custom club maker for $109. I wanted a new mallet putter in a left handed model (you can get RH or LH).
Pros: This is a face balanced mallet. It is made from a soft grade aluminum for a soft feel on contact. It has a single alignment stripe from front to back, which is actually made out of tungsten for weighting purposes. The mallet itself is black in color, with the alignment stripe being gray. This putter has a unique feature which I especially like. It has adjustable weight. There is a weight port on the bottom of the mallet at the rear. You can fill it with from zero to five tungsten discs and then put the cover over it. With no weights added, it is a traditional 335 gram head weight. If you use all the weights, it weighs in at 405 grams. I used all the weights for a heavier feel. I had the clubmaker put a shaft extension into the butt end of the shaft, and then put on a split grip so that it is a belly putter. I've never had a belly putter before, but I've gotten the yips as I've gotten older. If I can't get used to a belly putter, I can always have the grip taken off, have the shaft shortened, and put a standard grip on it. And I can change the weight to what I want as well. If I want a heavier feeling putter, I just use more tungsten weights in the weight- port.
Cons: It has a slightly firmer feel than some other aluminum putters I have tried, but just barely. The head cover that came with it to keep it from becoming marred or dented is a pretty tight fit. I would like it better if the headcover was a little easier to get on and off.
Quality: The quality is excellent. The face is perfectly flat, and everything appears to be perfectly manufactured.

Review Summary: This club is face-balanced to keep it from twisting, and to make it easier to swing back and through in a pendulum style swing. I especially like the adjustable weight feature which allows you to customize according to your own tastes.
