On 2009-08-04, DON rated this Zero Friction 3 Prong Birch Tees a 4...(8492)

Details: 3-1/4 inch wooden tees. 3 prongs just like the rest of the Zero Friction line of tees. Natural wood color. 50 in a pack.

Purchase: I got some of these tess to do this review.
Pros: The 3-1/4' length is just about right for most of my drives. I don't like anything shorter for a 460CC driver. The tees are stiffer than the original white Bio-Degradable tees, so they don't bend when you stick them in the ground, something the white tees tend to do. Same great performance as with the other Zero Friction tees, Same good distance and accuracy.
Cons: Being made of wood, (Birch), these tees don't hold up like the original white tees. I broke the tee on every shot I hit with my driver. Pretty much the norm for all wooded tees in my experience.
Quality: They look to be well made. Very consistant size.

Review Summary: If you like wooden tee over the high performace tees, then you should give these tees a try. They provide a little edge in distance over regular tees, and are easy to stick in firm ground. Only negative is they break just like any other wooden tee. The original white tees last a few rounds each if not longer. I'd give them a 5 for performance, but only a 3 for breakage. 4 on average.
