Purchase: Tried a 9.5 degree regular shafted one on a golf range because a pro friend recommended it as the best priced pro type quality driver on the market. I liked it so went to Golfsmith and bought a 8.5 degree stiff shafted one after trying it there. It was on sale for 179.99.
Pros: It sets up well for me, looks and feels good, the shaft works well for my swing, the sound of the head hitting the ball is not like hitting a rubbish can as with some other clubs. Though the head is deep and large, it isn't overly done and the overall balance of the club is excellent. I do believe that the compressor concept does make a difference as concerns the length of my drives. I like a shaft that stays with the swing and doesn't kick or torque especially when you make a bad swing which I do at times (who doesn't?) The grip is excellent - played in the rain twice the past week. While I got soaked, the grip didn't get slippery in the least- I never even wiped it!
Cons: I haven't hit it 50 yards further.
Quality: Excellent.

Review Summary: I recommend it highly- good value for one's hard earned bucks. You should use long tees (at least 2 7/8") to hit the ball well because of the deep face and the higher sweet spot. Check out the used ones. They are even less expensive, but hit some balls with it first.
