Hey gang,

I noticed something today which maybe can help some folks. I was demoing a Ping G5 driver 10.5 offset and boy I was hitting them pretty nice (and far for me, 220ish on the fly). The swings and drives which were the nicest were the ones where I was exhaling (almost out of breath) and my stomach muscles relaxes (not tight like when doing sit ups or something). So I would exhale and with arms totally relaxed, go into my swing and boom, she flew.

One question however (besides my hurting hands from before) was although I was using an offset driver, I still on occasion (well more often than not) slice the ball. Not super bad however, but still will goto the right. When I try to swing inside, it feels like I am crowding myself, when I swing outside, it feels like I am sweeping.

I know it is hard to diagnose swings without seeing anything but is there a middle ground swing (between outside sweeping and inside out swing)? Is my swing so off wack that the offset is not helping enough?
