Well,
I was leaning towards getting one of these after I became frustrated with trying to hit the Nike Pro Combo utility. Then I read a review from Mike and that convinced me.

I don't know why I put so much faith in you fairway tillers

Anyway, I went and picked a new one up on ebay for less than a $100. I bought a 2i 17° A2OS. I went with the OS because they are offset a bit and I typically struggle with the ball going right on the longer clubs.

Well, I like it. I struggled at first with it but after changing my backswing for all my clubs I started hitting it better along with everything else in the bag. I actually will draw it sometimes due to the offset unintentionally.

Thanks for the good review Mike, even though you liked the A2 better than the A2OS b/c of the offset. It is a good club for anyone that is in the market for a hybrid and I really do like it. I'm still getting used to it and am not completely confident with it yet but it'll come. It sure would be nice to be as confident in your 2 and 3i's as you are in a 9i wouldn't it?

Glad you like it! I have a buddy that is playing the A2OS 20º and it quickly became his go-to club.

I'm just writing my review of the Adams Idea Pro iron set with it's 20º and 23º hybrids that are included in lieu of 3 and 4 irons. I had ditched my 3 iron a couple seasons ago already, and didn't miss it a bit. I was a little hesitant about the 4 iron being replaced, but man do I love the 23º as well. Adams is making just awesome gear now. They have an offset iron set and hybrids coming out called the Idea Tech OS that is basically the companion game improvement set to the Idea Pros. I think those are supposed to be out in February, along with 2 new Drivers (430cc Tour type and 460cc game improvement types) and fairway woods as well (again, a Tour-type and G.I.-type.) Can't wait to see those!
