Bill, if you're late, you must play your second shot from wherever you land in your parachute. Hopefully you'll have a chance for a tap-in eagle? Don't be late! (Or do, depending on your skydiving skills...)

I haven't made any plans yet, but that won't stop me! Hopefully a friend of mine can join us, but if not, at least I intend to wack-a-doo in Colorado with a bunch'a wack-a-doo's! And whatever that means...? But count me in, and I don't plan to miss it (and so, or so shouldn't, you!!!)

Wade, the instructor told me it's not smart to try landing too close to the flagstick.

Please note, I changed my avatar to something Don, Wade and Scott will get used to seeing from the team of Lynn, Laney and myself.

I would never place an eagle into my avatar spot. There would be too much danger of it swooping down and devouring, let's say, uh, hmmm, maybe an avatar with the image of some rodent.......

Don, is it too late to sign-up for Sept.? My wife and I have been checking flights, looking over hotels and trying to make everything click so we can make it to Aurora for the tourney (It's pretty difficult to book an affordable flight on such short notice from Europe). My wife don't golf, but if the accomadations are right, she will be occupied during the day while I'm golfing, she's a darn good woman.

Hey Joe, hope you can make it, the more the merrier!

Bill, is that supposed to be an eagle or not? It appears to me a pigeon... BTW, you all know I'm Osage Indian, but didn't know I'm from the Eagle Clan of the Osage, for what it's worth...

And another BTW; recently I believe the bald eagle was removed from the endangered species list. However, eagles still remain on the endangered species list for me on the golf course. In my years of playing I have only made one eagle, and seen only one other. They are a very rare bird indeed.

That's my Cockatiel, Noogie. He gets really pissed if you call him a pigeon.

If you are a man/eagle, Scott better keep you away from his avatar.

I've had two double eagles, on a 514 and a 541 yd. par 5, I holed a 3 iron and a 4 wood for deuces. Those days are gone. I can't hit the ball that far anymore.

I'll know for by the end of the month (tomorrow), that's when my company HQ posts the financial report and our schedule of upcoming events.

I did invite Chris, but he's working a lot out of the country, and doesn't have much free time right now for golf. Which is weird of course for someone with a golf website. He said he'd check the dates and see if he can make it, but not a real good chance of it happening. It would be great if he can make it of course. Would be nice to meet the guy in charge of all this typing we do here.

Don,

Regretfully, I have to say I can not make it "this year" to the famed Annual GGR Invitational Tournament, for several reasons; I have got to visit our work centers in Italy (tough life, but someone’s got to do it) and Kosovo; my local golf club is having their Club Masters the 14 thru 16 of Sept. (chances for cash money and new cars); and my wife and I will be celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary on the 19th. I know you guys and us could have drank a toast (and/or guzzled a few brewskis) to our wedding anniversary, but everything seems to come together in September.

I really wanted to join some good players for a few days of fun and get valuable tips first hand from Bill, guess I’ll have to wait, maybe next year, maybe on the east coast. I hope you keep posting how the tournament progresses through the week.

Joe

Sorry you can't make it Joe. Did you say 32 years of marriage? To the same woman? Damn, that might be a modern day record. And you can't blame me for the dates. I said late August, but someone else wanted to wait until school started again. I think that was Scott's idea, if I remember correctly. In any case, I'll try to remember to hoist one for you and the wife on the 19th in your honor.

What about next year. We can't be thinking about next year, we have to be focused, and play it one year at a time. Get with the program girl, and be focused. You need to be focused, Bill is counting on you to preform this year.

Laney, this is Don's feeble attempt to put pressure on you. Please remember, there is no pressure, it's just a game. Oh, would you do me a favor and sign us up for the Jenny Craig program. We'll need to get rid of some excess from the dinners we'll undoubtedly win.

Bill;
Keep thinking that way my friend. I've got brand new pair of Nike shoes, and I'm going to walk right past your tee shot with them on 14 of 18 holes. On the other 4 holes, I don't intend to walk any farther then where the flag is.
