Anyway, this contest will end on Christmas Eve. Anyone from this forum that submits a review between now and midnight 12/24/2007 will be in the pool for selection. 2 winners will each receive a $100 gift certificate or gift card to any online establishment they want. It can be golf related or not, it's your call. The important thing is that there will be 2 winners. The more reviews you submit, the greater your chances of winning.

Now some of you may be thinking, Gee Chris, it's almost December, I haven't really purchased any new equipment yet.. Well, be creative! Go to your local sporting goods store, try on a new pair of Footjoys and hit some balls at the indoor range. Pick up a cheap golf book at the flea market and write a nice review of it. Hit some sponge balls in your basement and test out a new indoor putting machine. Try out the latest Tiger Woods PGA Tour game for the XBOX 360 or PS3. Whatever. As long as you are able to generate an informative opinion on a golf gear item, and the review is 200 words, it will count.

Thanks to everyone who posted reviews during this contest! Although we only had 22 reviews submitted this month, it's a start. I'd like to begin running contests more often.

Also if you like to write and you have some good topics you'd like to write about, let me know. I'm thinking about starting a section with reader submitted articles in addition to reviews. I really want to get the community involved in building content so we can keep the site fresh and unique.
