I will be traveling to Sedona, AZ with my wife and in-laws in late April. Does anyone have suggestions of courses to play while I am there. My father-in-law and I tend to golf a lot together so hopefully during the week, we'll get out quite a few times.
Thanks,
-Rob

There's actually a place called the "Sedona Golf Resort" that a friend of mine played a while back. I think it was one of the Golf Digest picks too. Supposed to be visually amazing, although that might not help you focus on your game much, haha..

There isn't as much golf in Sedona as the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, you could also consider driving a bit to widen your choices. Sedona is really beautiful.

I actually stayed at 'The Ridge' which is adjacent to the Sedona Golf Resort. I played the course twice and it was absolutely beautiful. The bunkers, with the crushed red rocks, were awful to hit from. One of the workers had told me that they are actually going to remove the crushed red rock from all of the bunkers and replace with regular sand. He told me that the drainage was awful because of the red rocks lumping together like clay when it was wet.

The other course I had played was 'Beaver Creek'. It is the 2nd oldest in AZ. Not much of a course, but still fun.
