was at another demo day looking to replace old cobra 5 & 7 woods. guy said to try a 9 wood. immediately sent ball long & high & straight! remembered i had bought one for daughter, so went home, stuck it in my bag, & went to another range. 27 degrees w/ regular shaft...it sends the ball! it's an orlimar knockoff i paid $29 for at play it again sports. if i choke waaay down i hit it 165. at normal grip i max out at 195. all i do is play it in middle of stance & hit right down on it...the ball goes high & long. even miss-hits (skull) go a long ways. actually, the orlimar at that loft is an 11 wood! hey, i'm a long hitter, but long irons were a problem. this thing has replaced my 3 & 4 irons...& the only time i use the 5iron is to punch the ball out from under a branch. has allowed me to carry 4 wedges & 19 degree wood. try one. my 3 hcap buddy was amazed! by the way, i'm a 10 hcap. i use hogan apex edge pro irons w/ stiff graphite. i carry a 16 deg wood, but still hook it quite a bit. i'm workin' on it!
