So I was just thinking, instead of this being Marketplace, maybe folks have clubs they'd be willing to trade. My club sends around some lists every now and then of things the members have that they'd like to/be willing to sell or trade. Maybe we could have a trade functionality within the site or this thread.

For example, I've got an un-used chipping net that I won't use. But it's one of those things that costs $15 so I'm not going to try and sell it on eBay as it's not worth the shipping costs. But I'd be happy to trade it for something if someone here wants one and wouldn't have to buy it by trading something they already have but don't use. I'm sure I have other stuff too.

Think of what Don might have with all those drivers and such....


Anyway just an idea for how to get some "new" gear without paying much in this economically troubled time...

That is an interesting idea Scott. Maybe I should update the description of this forum to at least suggest that. Maybe call it Buy, Trade, Sell?

So if we want to do this, I suggest we each look through our gear and decide what if any items we're willing to trade, then post those items on the thread. Maybe someone will find something that they're willing to trade for.
