The newlywed couple entered a mixed scotch, alternate shot, golf tournament. He had a slight speech problem and when she got nervous or excited, would sometimes fall into a shaking, uncontrollable fit.

As they walked onto the 1st green, he explained he would get first putt and if he missed, she would then putt.

He read the putt, took careful aim, made a great stroke and missed the putt by a mile.

He then said, "he-he-here, t-t-ta-take th-th-the put-put-putter an-an-and y-y-you-you t-t-try. O-o-Ka-ka-kay?"

She instantly went into a nervous fit, started shaking, waving the putter all over the place, feet twisting her in circles and suddenly she hit the ball in the hole.

He was a little ticked and said, "W-w-we-well sh-sh- %&#@, y-y-you sh-sh-should a-a ma-ma-ma-made it. y-y-you ai-ai-aimed e-e-every where !!!!"

It must be too early in the morning for me, because I don't get it.

DocT. Have another cup of coffee and try again. It's not all your fault, it is an hour or so earlier in California then where the rest of us live.

Doc..........when I was younger, I had the same problem (sometimes).
