I think this section can be a great idea and a great way to trade stuff. But please try to remember that both parties have to figure the shipping charges into the deal. Not much sense trading a $10 item if it's going to cost another $7 or $8 to ship it. Kind of ruin the trade for both parties on low value items. Just something to think about if you have an item to trade.

True, but if you do a bundle of things, it can still be worth it. But like you say, it's something to consider.

And remember you can ship things for cheaper sometimes with the postal service.

Scott, That's the thing if trading low cost items, if you can combine a couple it would be much better than trading just one. With a $150 driver, shipping is not a big deal, but for say a dozen golf balls, it would be a major factor.

Right. If you're interested say in buying a dozen $40 golf balls (say something like the Callaway TourI's as just an example... smile ), then trading for them with something you have and paying shipping is still cheaper than paying $40 + tax out of pocket. But yes, a $10 item, it's best to combine where you can.
