Yesterday it was 76 degrees and there were people all over the golf course.
Today it's in the 20's and there's a major blizzard.
The Black Hills are a little different than Cabo San Lucas. crazy

Well, this snow stuff is only ok for a short while.
I told everyone today this year I'll be leaving in the Fall when I've got it all and I'll be back in the Spring after I've spent everything.

Just curious, Bill...I can understand Cabo but how did you decide to settle part of the year in SD? It's certainly not known for wonderful weather (you betcha). Loved the movie Fargo.

Aimee,
We're building a resort called The Wyoming Club, just across the border in Wyoming. I'm the project director.
2000 acres. Arthur Hill Championship course, great clubhouse, restaurants, spa, homesites, hotel sites, private residence club, hunting and fishing lodge.
Our website will be fully functional around the middle of April. In the meantime, I did a temp. site that shows the master plan and the golf course. Check out www.thewyomingclub.com
Also, if you want to see the hunting club, which is part of The Wyoming Club, check out www.cheyenneridge.com
Anyway, that's what I'm doing here right now.
Jan and I will live in The Wyoming Club in summer and Cabo in Winter.

P.S. If you want to see some of the details like layout of the course, architectural plans or pictures of the property, email me
bill@thewyomingclub.com

Interesting concept, shoot birdies two ways.
I would guess the golf season is fairly short up there, but the scenery is nice.

Lynn and I had a Blizzard over the weekend. We went to Dairy Queen and we each got the extra large size, just to pig out. I can hear Scott and Laney now. Both of them are drooling just thinking about a Blizzard of their own.

RE Blizzards:
Oreo cookie -- it's one of the few junk foods worth eating!

Wonder if there will be a DQ at the GGR 2011 location?

Okay Bill, with a DQ on hand, we can count Laney in for 2011 at the Wyoming Club. Count me in also. Can't wait to come up there for a visit and some golf on your new course. Put me down for a Butterfinger Blizzard come 2011. I'm pretty sure we can count on Scott as well now that he knows about the DQ Blissard deal. Anyone else up for the Wyoming Club for 2011?

If we have Blizzards AND margaritas, I'm in big trouble.

Don't worry Laney, I will not let you drink any margiritas on top of your Blizzard. But this does give me an idea. I wonder if DG can make a margarita Blizzard? That would be interesting.

I think it's about a 5 hour drive up to the Wyoming Club from me. I'm planning to driver up come the 2011 GGR Invitational. Any one care to ride along?

MMMMMMMMMMM. Don, you remembered. How nice. Laney, you remember those right, my scary driving as we darted across traffic...wait a minute, you said that was normal for Houston..ok, never mind.

Bill, when are you going to be back in the warm southern states?

And I'm all for GGR 2001 in Wyoming.

I also want to go dog sleeding sometime up there....hopefully not the same trip though smile

Blizzard - pineapple cheesecake
And when I was in college I lived at the beach one summer, we had a DQ a block away...they have some kind of slushy drink that we used to bring home and spike with vodka. Good times.

Of course I remembered Scott. It was one of the nicest thing about the time we got together to play golf, eat and drink, and just have fun. Can't wait for 2011 to get here to do it again, and we should be able to count on Bill showing up this time.

Speaking of Blizzards, we got hit pretty hard last Thursday, took the wife 3 hours to drive home, and it's only 12 miles and a 25 minute drive in good weather. Got hit again last night and it's expected to last all day today. Not looking good for any golf course reviews around here any time soon. Just pulling your leg a little Chris. Couldn't resist.

It's finally beautiful here now...upper 70's sunny. I just spent 3 days at the beach with the kids and passing all those courses has got me wanting to play so tomorrow is at least 18 holes, maybe more. Thought about going out today but a 4 hrs drive with 2 kids makes for a lonnng morning smile . Tomorrow for sure!

WE got hit big time this week. Friday and Saturday we got a mix of rain and snow both. Even with the rain melting the snow on the ground, we still had 9 inches on the ground by Saturday monning, with more rain all day. Supposed to be getting up to 4 inches of water, just not sure how much is rain and how much is water. For Denver, that's a lot of water. We've only had a total of 1.1 inches of water for the year before Fridays snow.
