Did anyone happen to see where a golfer had his ball go down a sewer drain this past weekend? Turns out the guy did it twice on the same hole, in the same sewer drain. What was really funny was the comment my David Feherty " You'd think a golfer that can hit a 3 foot wide sewer drain 2 days in a row, would be able to hit the fairway".
Feherty gets my VOTE for best TV announcer in golf, just for his sense of humor alone.

Never heard about it. You sure? Same Guy? Same Drain? Well, last night I watched the Big Break on TV and they had a challenge where you had to hit 2 balls onto the green and try to get them as close to each other as possible. Most people were 6-15 feet away IF they got both on the green. One guy put two balls touching! 0'0"'s...wow...now it was luck mostly but some skill. Sounds like the PGA guy would have won that challenge too!

Or maybe it's a BIG drain...

I don't remember the name of the guy that did it, but it was this past weekend at the Byron Nelson. And if I remember correctly it was one of the guys near the top of the leader board. They showed a re-play of him hitting his second shot the second time he found the drain. No penality it seems for losing your balls down the sewer drain. Man made drain, so it didn't count for a penality.

Maybe he just got confused and had his eye on the wrong hole. Did they say if it was a hole in one? After hitting it the first time, he may have felt his odds of winning were better if he went for it again. smile
