Cool. Will be interested to see if anyone else notices a difference. Aside from them being nearly indestructable, I am seeing reduced spin and a couple more yards, although the yardage is probably too inconsistent to count with my game, but combined with a low-spin ball I seem to be hitting more fairways the last few times out. Of course, that's when the touch usually goes out of my approach and putting game, LOL, and I lose the most strokes.. ugh..

I've used these before when I found them around the tee box. They are great when the ground is hard in the tee box, not so great when it's squishy. And as you noted, they just don't break. Not sure the spin thing can be quantified but more research to follow...

That's a great point Amy. I haven't used them in a softer box yet, but I could totally see that being a potential issue. Like anything, I'd probably carry some of these along with standard ones in my bag though.

Yes, I think to quantify the reduction in spin you would almost have to set up a complete data analysis and have a repeatable swing, etc. But I suppose if they last longer, have a chance of reducing spin, and are not that expensive, I will probably continue to use them. They're too thin to stay behind the ear though, haha, which is where I normally keep my tee until the next hole.

I used to use the little hole in the grip of my old wood driver to hold my tee, but once bought my newer drivers, I just started sliding them under my hat band by my right ear(has to be the right ear)

recieved mine last week used them Wednesday, Can't say that I noticed any major distance changes using them, but did seem to last much longer than the wood tees.

One thing I noticed is everyone I gave a pink tee to hit like crap off the tee shot. Now the Yellow I used was fine, but the pinks were causing some funk on the ball... smile

used them at the weekend - colours are fine (lurid pink being the best!)
however did notice they should have been made with stronger plastic as if the ground was a bit hard they bent and I had to force them back to upright
otherwise brilliant - added about 10 yards to every drive, each one went straight (but not necessarily in the right direction!)
would consider buying one (father in law was impressed) - just wished they were harder

Kev, good point. Even the ones I find on the course are bent. They just seem to not stand up to being pushed into the ground very well.

Well, unfortunately for me, the tees were long enough for me. I did try them though. I did, however, use them for my par three shots, and on a hole or 2 where i used my hybrid off the tee. Worked ok, i guess.

right you are kevboy, the zero friction tees, were not long enough so they did not give my ball the height it needed.

I'm getting ready to write my review. Do you know whether these are the performance tees or the etees? It seems, from the zerofriction website, that only the etees are biodegradable and mower friendly, and that we probably have the performance tees for review. Plus, I just don't know which one to select as the review heading. Thanks. Chris, if you don't know but have contact info for the company, I will contact them.

Yes, you have the performance tees laney. I think the etees are wooden.

I am so pleased. I just posted my first review! No attaboys, by the way. I am just taking delight in one of the small pleasures...
