Tour players forced to mingle ... and don't like it - I’ve said this before and probably will say it many, many more times.

I have to say, that was a very interesting perspective laney. You guys have all done a great job with this. Lots of different perspectives and that's what visitors to GGR are looking for. I need to try and drum up more of these "mass review" opportunities. Lori is all about growing this feature to GGR.

Thanks. blush I really have been converted to these tees, at least for now, and I had tried them before and decided I didn't like them.

You know, Chris, if you could get just one or a few of a more expensive item, we could mail it around among the reviewers. It could be pretty cool.

I got my shipment of tees, and they are excellent tees. I just don't undeer why LAney only gave the tees a 3 ratiing, when she says she liked them? AS for being Diodegradable, the package I have with the Performance golf tees says right on the package that they are Biodegradable. so I don't know what is being stated here about only the wooden ones being degradable. All of the packages I have say they are. If you get the longer 3-1/4" tees, you should find them long enough for your driver.

Oh, I thought I gave them a 4. Can I go back and fix it?

My sample said nothing. Did Chris give you special treatment and send you a whole package? However, I bought my own bag, and it said "made from recycled materials," but it didn't say biodegradable. So, do they have 3 types of tees, recycled, biodegradable, and wooden? Chris?

Laney, that's a good idea regarding more expensive items. I'll definitely keep that in mind, as long as shipping is not prohibitive. I may just do that with this R9 driver because it's still giving me fits, haha. (By the way DON, what do you charge to build a driver? smile

Interesting point also Don about the biodegradable. I think some of the comments I've seen from course owners may be just assumptions based on how they spit out from under the mowers. I just checked a pack that I have and it has that statement on there as well. Hmmmm..

I think it's $15 per club, that's what I was just quoted on ebay. I think the reviewers would be willing to pay shipping to the next person.

Chris, I've participated in a club demo from another site where you were responsible for the shipping cost to the next tester, and there was a defined demo period (ie, one week) for keeping the club. It worked very well. If you sign up to demo, you know the rules up front.

I haven't had the chance to try out these tees yet. But I have a tournament coming up in July, and I think this would be a great time to try them out.

Laney; I have half a dozen packages of Zero Friction tees on hand, and I use them for just about every tee shot I hit. All the packages say Biodegradable on them. Even the new birch tees they just came out with. Can't tell you about any complaints from the grounds crew about these tees, but it could be some of the other high tech tees that are the problem, and not the ZF tees.
I'll post a review on each of the tees starting tomorrow. The wooded tees at the same as the ZF 3 prong tees, just made of birch. The new adjustable tees are interesting, and will appeal to some of you.

Got my tees today and I ran right out and tried them....WOW very nice..the only thing that can make them better would be height lines on the tee stem so you can get a consistent ball height when you tee you the ball....Love the colors also...
