One of my favorite courses to play is in SE Georgia. The course is Laurel Island Links. It was opened in the late nineties and designed by Davis Love. It is tucked away in the Crooked River Marsh, with spectacular views. The in season green fees are $55 and $60. It is worth a visit.

I've never been to Georgia to play but if I do I'll see if I can find this course. Thanks for the recommendation. Crooked River Marsh? I love Southern names. They're always so fun!

Considering how expensive some of the courses closer to town can be, this is a great deal and a wonderful course to play. We spend a little in gas, but it is still worth the trip.
