If I have to hit a mid or long iron off a tee on a par 3, I almost always hit it thin and/or off the toe. I hate messing up on par 3's because theoretically it's my easiest shot at par. Actually if it's a long iron it often isn't as bad because I'll more likely hit a decent distance, just right of the green, so I can often get an easy wedge shot.
Do you have one thing which should be easy that you often find you mess up more often than you'd like?

I do that too Aimee but I've started working to make sure the first foot or so of my takeaway takes to clubhead back on the line I want it to go back thru the ball on. That's helping some but I hate missing greens on a Par 3.

Another thing I mess up is when I'm in between clubs and I try to swing a longer club softer or choke down. Usually wind up thinning it or something. So I'm starting to just full swing a higher club a little harder.

Scott I think you are right on takeaway...Thinning or toeing the shot on par 3's is normally caused by me taking the club to far outside and then coming over the top, especially middle to long shots. Thin off toe and short right. eek

I think we are on to something...I'm swinging the iron too much outside...leave it on the ground and the tendency goes away.

Well now............This beg's a few questions????

madOh no Bill H. Our worst nightmare...We are done before we started. You weren't supposed to find this till we were up and running and profitable.
Scott was the author of "Straight Back"...
Aimee was the author of "Low to the Ground"...
It was also stated "leave it on the ground" in an earlier above post. I took the editorial license to change to "Low To The Ground"...
Do you want to buy-in?
We will be creating jobs maybe there is stimulus money available.
Did anybody vote Democrat? wink

Just messin' with ya Self...just messin'.... smile

Bill, please don't confuse the issue with facts! For answers to those questions, people will have to buy into the advanced lesson plans which are $49.99 in 4 easy payments. We can even sell little accessories that will help them remember our concepts...some fancy belt buckles, maybe some logo/motto golf shirts, some practice devices to show them "how low and how long"...all that is in the marketing.

Ok, so we also need a spokes-person. G Gordon Liddy is already pushing gold so he's gone. Who else would be good? Wesley Snipes needs $$ to pay his tax bills. He might do it. There is always John D...he'll push anything...
