Will Michelle Wie now go to the next level? - I can’t say that I’m a huge Michelle Wie fan.

She’s a gifted golfer and, even at 20 years old, has shown glimpses of the talent we’ve heard about for the last 10 years or more. So I do have t...

We have an indoor golf dome close by. There are many activities inside for you to do. You can practice your putt on the green. Practice your swing, or just hit balls. You can also practice at the driving range. I think it’s a pretty neat place, I took my daughter there over the weekend. She had a ball hitting the balls.

Of course there is also a store where you can buy golf related items.

Anything like this where you live? Do you go?

Not here. There used to be but it didn't get enough use so it closed. It was mainly an indoor driving range. Best we have around here is the indoor practice area at Golfsmith's, but that's 2hrs away.

None around here (I think golf dome is a midwest thing)...there are a couple of complexes that combine batting cage with driving range and even go-cart tracks, for the party groups, but nothing all enclosed/indoors. That would be fun.

We have a couple things here in the great state of Pittsburgh.
There is a golf dome, with a lot of hitting areas, a big putting green, short game area and bunkers to practice from as well.
We also have a couple indoor golf facilities. Those are primarily golf bays where you play indoor golf on simulators.
They're great places, especially during the offseason.

No indoor ranges in my area either, or that I know of.

MikeD- that is what ours is like - the golf dome. It was a lot of fun.
You a Steelers fan? Sorry off topic I know- but I've been a Steelers fan since I was old enough to know what football was.

I'm not aware of any in my area as well. That sounds really cool though. I'd love to have a place to go even when it's raining. I can't tell you how many times I've canceled golf plans due to rain.

Yes! Another Steeler fan! Our season looks like an easy one this year. I was surprised after winning the Superbowl!

Go Big Ben!

I've cancelled golfing plans too due to rain. These indoor places aren't really like golfing on the outdoors course, more for fun.

Definitely don't have any indoor places here on St. Thomas, but I would imagine that indoor golfing would be...I don't know...not as satisfying. I enjoy being outside and embracing elemental challenges just as much as I love the game.
