Will Michelle Wie now go to the next level? - I can’t say that I’m a huge Michelle Wie fan.

She’s a gifted golfer and, even at 20 years old, has shown glimpses of the talent we’ve heard about for the last 10 years or more. So I do have t...

So I'm moving to Puerto Rico in a month and I've never golfed over there. I'll be searching the net and asking around once there, but I wanted to know if anyone on the site has ever been and had a great experience at any of the courses on the island. I'll have a few days before I start working when I move, and I'd like to get some play in before work! smile

Play the two courses at Dorado Beach (about 20+ miles west of San Juan on North shore...They are Robert Trent Jones designs...The Senior tour used to play their Final tournament of the year. Top 30 money winners. The East course was the best between the East & West courses. There was two more about 3 minutes up the road at Cerromar...It is my understanding that Hyatt closed both hotels and opened a huge vacation club on the property. You will love Puerto Rico...The native Puerto Ricans are wonderful...Most speak English, but if you know Spanish it will be a plus. I would live there in a "heart-beat". cool

I agree, I have always enjoyed my visits to PR and the spiced run which usually accompanies these visits. One thing you may want to check out though; I heard that car insurance is not manatory in PR so many drivers, especially away from the larger cities may not carry any. I asked a friend what happens if there is an accident and he told me they just fight it out in the street..

That's perfect; I'll be living in San Juan! I know some Spanish and am planning to become bilingual while living there. I don't plan on buying a car...at least not yet. I've been there and I've seen the way they drive! :-o
