The future golf widow (grin!):

The bride and the groom were standing at the altar. The bride looks lovingly at the groom and sees that behind him is his golf bag.

"What's that doing here?" she whispers.
"That?" he says.
"Your golf bag," she says.
"Well, I figured that this wouldn't take all day." whispers the groom.

This must be a girl joke. I just don't get it.

OKAY, now I get it.

She did't bring HER clubs, so now she's making it ALL HIS FAULT.

Lol. Yes, perhaps they were going to take off on a golfing vacation right after the wedding?

I believe that he means that the wedding wouldn't take all day, so he'd still have lots of time to leave her behind and play golf afterward. So yes, perhaps it's a girl joke!

Just pulling your leg a little golfchick. I've been married for over 12 years now. One reason I'm still married, is that my wife an I came to an understanding a long time ago. NO MATTER WHATS WRONG, IT'M MY FAULT. It doesn't matter what it is, I'M WRONG AND IT'S MY FAULT. Rather simple really. It makes the wife happy, and we all know that if the WIFE isn't happy, NO ONE will be happy. So this way the wife is happy, because it's my fault, and that way I have a chance of beeing happy.

That's the same agreement I have with my wife too.

One of the stupid reality shows recently was "Real Housewives of New Jersey"...not very real, but kind of like a car crash you had to stop and look.
Anyhow, one of the "real" husbands had a very wise philosophy: "happy wife, happy life"

LOL there was a thread on Golfwrx.com, some guy posted saying he just got married that morning and was wondering if he should play with his ring on or off.

OFF. He's not used to wearing his ring yet, so it would mess up his game to wear it.

It could also MESS up his life if he FORGETS to put it back on after his round, but that's a differnt subject.

Tell me about it, I've done that once... Never again...
