So -- is anyone surprised that Tiger Woods missed the cut for the British Open? I would imagine we all are. It's been big news all over the media here. Watson is still in the lead. What a shocker, though, about Tiger.

Which is the bigger news? Tiger missing just his 6th cut of his professional career, of which he's had I think 232 starts? Or Watson at the age of 59 leading this event?

I'm more impressed with Watson leading than Tiger missing the cut. But that's me.

And Daly is even par, just 5 strokes back!! So for this week, Daly is better than Tiger at something that doesn't get him thrown in jail! smile

You just can't help but love the way this is playing out. I agree with you Scott, I'm also more impressed with Watson, than Tiger bailing. While I would say Tiger missing the cut is shocking, Watson's performance has me glued to the tube.

And Daly, well, at least they haven't found him out in a pub somewhere, LOL.

I hate it and of course I'm super surprised! I had Tiger winning the whole event. How sad it is for me. I'm a Tiger fan! I need to go look for an interview from him. Wonder what the problem was, the wind?

Seemed like Tiger was off on many things. Putting, approach shots, off the tee especially. Didn't seem like he was hitting the ball like he wanted too, so I don't think it was the wind.

I have always thought Tiger seemed like a stand up kind of guy so I feel bad for him. But I agree that it's fantastic for Watson! What a great way to boost an ego!
