I did not see the blow out and don't think I would want to. I heard one of the commentators yesterday say that from looking at his performance on his nine holes going out one over par verses his 9 coming in 51/36 and his most recent performances it is obvious the man does not lack talent. I think he just has had enough for one person. Loosing 80 pounds and keeping the hectic schedule he keeps not just with golf and all the traveling he has been doing but he is also filming for a reality show that is airing next year. I hard he just cut a record last week. It is sad because watching his interview he really is serious about trying to make positive changes in his life. I hope he eases up on himself and gives himself a chance.

me. Definitely he had a bad 9 holes. I didn't see any of it so I can't comment on what was going on, but he had been playing pretty well up to then in the previous events. So hopefully for him he'll keep the positives changes going on in his life whether his golf improves or not.

Not a fan of John Daly, so I don't care if he ever gets his game back on track. Can't say I'd miss those ugjy pants he's be wearing of late. I just don't see any reason to be concerned about him, when there are hundreds of other good golfers to watch or follow.

I have never been a fan of John Daly in the past but it is obvious he has a big following. I just really liked the interview where he talked about wanting to do the right things going forward and he is saying all the right things. After his blow out he said he is not going to ignore the signs and he is going back to the doctor and address problems. I am all for anyone picking themselves up by the bootstraps and not quitting. For his kids sake I hope he does well. Your point about all the other talented people out there that are more deserving, no argument there but for Big John to do good does not take anything away from them. I am far from a liberal and do not approve of his past behavior at all. So what the hell let him crash and burn right?
