It's been way to quiet around here, so if people aren't playing golf, whatcha been up to?

Me? Brother was in the hospital for a week and then I had work and life getting in the way. Also started biking and getting exercise again, but played today...augh it showed I'd had a layoff.

Anyone doing anything fun, other than golf????

Nope, just golf
And work during the week, of course.
We've decided in view of the financial situation, no travel type vacation...we are playing courses all over the state over the next couple of weeks (I'm taking 2 days off at a clip to make long weekends). With playing during the week, some of the places we'd passed on because of green fees being too high are quite affordable.
Also lets us explore new places to eat outside our neighborhood.
Maybe a day at the beach and some hiking, too.

We went to Boulder Creek for my birthday left on Wednesday night and I got to play golf there. It is a short course in the middle of the redwoods. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin on the course. Went hiking in the Santa Cruz mountains. You play free on your birthday. We stayed till Saturday morning and then drove along the coast with the top down. I played the links course Saturday at Half Moon Bay and Sunday we just layed around and ate and watched golf and ate and watched golf and oh yea we ate.

I've been struggling with life, juggling sanity between wife (and baby girl) and work. Haven't played golf since the tournament 4 weeks ago.

Haven't been up to too much. just started my few weekends of golf on Sunday with the L.O.O.M. 2 man scramble. Will be playing next week with my fantasy football league then 2 weeks after that, my 3 day golf trip with my Dad. But other than that, it's been work work work. Do a little this a little that.
