PNC Park in Pittsburgh is probably my new favorite ball park. The fans don't get all that excited (and for good reason), but this park is beautiful. The park itself has a minor league feel...the view of the river, bridge, and city skyline is hard to beat.

Now I am back in Boston and have to get used to the uncomfortable seats at Fenway.

You know, our new minor league team owner is building this $40M ball park (of course us tax payers have had to give him a bailout BTW...) and one of the ticket options is all you can eat food. I guess for some it works out ok, but health-wise I try to stay away from the all-you-can-eaters...plus, all you can eat hotdogs??? OMG!!!!

There is a pricey section in the new Yankee stadium or Citi field (Mets) - don't remember which - where it is all you can eat, but it's not simple food like dogs, it's more like upscale "pub" food like steak sandwiches. One of the writers went there to figure out based on the cost of the food if he could eat enough to make the cost of the ticket worth it. Not really.

My priority going to a game is to watch the game...be it baseball, hockey, football, etc...I wouldn't have my determination of buying a ticket be for an 'all you can eat' section whether it's hot dogs or 'upscale' food. Reminds me of the fools who go to a game and drink themselves into oblivion, but claim to be fans.
