Will Michelle Wie now go to the next level? - I can’t say that I’m a huge Michelle Wie fan.

She’s a gifted golfer and, even at 20 years old, has shown glimpses of the talent we’ve heard about for the last 10 years or more. So I do have t...

In the R7 Taylor Made draw driver I've found the Holy Grail. No more gadgets, cures or courses to straighten that slice. Now my ball finds 70 per cent of fairways - close to tour average I believe - or nestles in the light rough. I've gained only a little distance so far, but being on the fairway gives me excellent opportunities to hit the green in regulation and now my scores are starting to tumble. I'm sure I'll starting hitting the ball harder as my confidence in the club grows. Even though the R7 has been superseded by the Burner, there are still plenty on E Bay. I was lucky enough to find a new one. Try one and straighten your banana.

123, glad you found your "holy grail" of drivers...it's a frustrating process of hit or miss (literally). Putting the ball on the short grass gives you a better chance of scoring well!

A second WELCOME to the site 123. I tried that Draw driver you got, and it just didn't do much for me. But the important thing is IT'S WORKING FOR YOU. I did pick up a used TM R7 CGB this spring. It's the same shape and size head as the new Burner, only with 3 movable weights. I found it for less than the price of a new Burner, and it sold new for $500 a year ago. With the right shaft in it, I think it could be a great driver. Time will tell I guess.

Come on guys, the Cobra Speed series is the best driver ever invented...so why keep trying all these other drivers...bite the bullet and getcha one... smile

And, the Mizuno MX200 might be the single great set of irons EVER invented....then again, maybe not smile

Seriously, for me I'd hate the changeable weights ones...augh..too many decisions already to then have to add that into the mix. I'd never get to tee off the first hole smile

Simple is best. Heck, why even carry 14 clubs, let's just cut down to 3, a putter, a driver and an iron. Ok, maybe a SW....and then there's the hybrid, gotta have that. Ok, let's leave it at 14.

Speaking of 14 clubs...how many do you really use. My last 9 holes of golf I used driver, SW, 9I, GW, 6I, 4Hyrbid and Putter...so 7 clubs.

Well, it's obvious, Scott is currently researching the short term effects of sniffing the paint off golf balls, while searching for mushrooms on your local golf links.
