For folks like me that have a Skycaddie GPS, Skycaddie has released a new software upgrade. Yes, you have to pay for it but I think if you've invested in the SkyCaddie, it's worth it. It's $20 and it gets you an increase from 10 to 20 courses you can store but it also gives you several new software features including: digital scorecard, a new beta/pro version of the intelligreen feature that apparently can show you contours of the green, an improved distance measuring system for seeing how far you hit shots, and maybe a couple other things. I was just renewing my subscription and this was there as an upgrade so I said what the heck.
it took a couple updates on my Skycaddie to get it all there, and but afterwards, the version of my software said 3.75 or something like that and all these new features were there PLUS it found my courses super fast. Way faster GPS course selection that normal. It seems to let you keep the score, stop and resume it, or turn it off all together. Scoring wise it looks like it tracks at least score and # of putts. Maybe more in the settings I'm not sure, I just now turned it on. And the green thing is sort of cool. I'm on the 2.5 black and white version, I bet the color 3.5 and 5 would be even cooler, but this does in fact shadow the major contours on the green. Cool!
Anyway, just fyi for those Skycaddie owners. It's called the "Course and Software Expansion Pack" and it's like $19.95
