Phil Mickelson added another World Golf Championship to his resume this weekend, however is the bigger story Tiger's inability to close on a Sunday?

P.S. I am not a Phil at all. I do not like him and never have. I am a follower of Tiger. I would lie I love Tiger.

Makes you wonder if Tiger only "gets up" for the really big "name" tournaments*, like he's jaded. Or maybe Phil is just trying a little harder not to blow up.
*yes, some people would call this an important tournament, but it's not a major or the same kind of prestige as the Masters, for example.

If you have be watching golf on TV this fall, you no doubt heard Johnny Miller stating that he believes Phil is the number ONE golfer at the moment. He claims that when PHIL is ON, not even Tiger can beat him. Hard to argue with that, now that Phil has beaten Tiger the last two event they both played in. Last round of the FedEx challenge Phil won, Now in the last event of the World Golf Championships Phil beats him again. this time by 5 I believe. 2010 will be interesting to watch if both Tiger and Phil are ON. Be FUN to watch.

The end of 2009 has been a fun viewing experience for golf. I like watching the international tournaments and seeing some new up and comers from all around the world. Plus seeing courses in Asia and Australia is fun. I have never been to that part of the world and would love to go.
