It is sad to see the state of the LPGA. I however have to admit I rarely watch the tour. I watch some of the majors and sometimes randomly through the year. I do not find the LPGA exciting. I like watching the men. The men's game is so different. Also, men have more personality. Plus, I am a girl and it is fun to watch cute men play golf. Women just seem blah. I wish I was more supportive. I have a few friends playing and I follow their scores. I hope the tour is able to figure itself out. LPGA is great for women's golf, and in the past a lot of women worked hard to set up this tour. I hope all things work out.

How do you feel about the LPGA signing a contract with the Golf channel? Used to be I could watch a lot of LPGA events on TV, but now they are all on TGC, and I don't get TGC, so I CAN'T watch even when I want to.

Well one thing working against them also is the whole TV schedule. If they go head to head with the PGA, they lose. many times they may be on alternate times and/or tape delay, which in the internet age sucks. because I'll know who won before the broadcast happens. But most weekends, the men's tour is showing and so it's hard to compete against those for viewers.

I watch some of the major events, but not most of the routine events. Mainly because I can watch the other guys at roughly the same time.

I have no problem with the Golf Channel contract. I have the golf channel and watch it regualarly. I do not feel that I watch the LPGA tour less now that is on the Golf Channel. I think my problem with watching women's golf is I do not like a lot of the golfers. I do not know them personally but I do not like them. I do support by following along online but that is enough for me. I like golf and support women's golf but LPGA needs to peak my interest a little more.

An observation...I never feel that the way they film the LPGA events is the same as the PGA. The coverage, the "style", they use is just different. I really WANT to watch, but they don't make it easy.
Another peeve is that I don't know why the huge focus on showing everyone putt out, I'd rather see more fairway shots. Maybe because I find them more difficult.

I enjoy watching both the PGA and LPGA events. I'm also not happy with the LPGA broadcast at weird times on TGC.

Another problem I have with the LPGA on TV is that they only show a select few players. Sometimes the players they are showing on TV are not evening leading the event. I know Americans may not have a connection with the foreign born players but if they are leading I want to see the leaders. I hope the new commissioner is ready for a lot of challenges. I think anything could be better than Biven.
