What's people's vote for the most riciulous OEM? For their constant product development (AKA- clubs worthless after six months) my nomination goes to Taylor Made. How many drivers does one company need at one time?! Let's review:
R7, R7 TP, R7 HT, R5 N, R5 D, R5 TP, R580.
They are single-handedly attempting to move the golf market into a 6 month product lifecycle. Now they have started with adjustable weight putters. They are making a mockery of themselves!

I haven't seen the adjustable weight putters yet, but I've got to agree with the premise. I've always liked their products, but they are a lot like the IT industry where 6 months is a long life cycle for a product. It's more than a little crazy, but the golf market is so competitive now...

Golf balls are the same way. If you manage to find a ball you really like, a few months later they take it off the market and bring out a new model. A royal pain to say the least, but it does mean I get to buy last months model at close-out prices this way, and that's not all bad. Same thing with last years driver models, this year they are on sale, same thing next year. Just like buying a new computer. If you are willing to buy last year's model, you can save a lot of money and get damn near the same product. Unless you are on the PGA tour, I really don't think last year's model will hurt you enough that you will notice.
