Do you guys see any value in adding golf course reviews to Golf Gear Review? Personally, I'd like to keep things focused around equipment, but I have had several emails over the past few months encouraging this... thoughts?

Course reviews have sort of been done in the past when people have posted requests for course recommendations for trips. Like, "Hey guys, I'm going to Podunk next week. Anyone know of some courses in the area?" That seems to work for the forums.

It might be interesting to see some reviews of tour stops, though. With the Open coming up it would be interesting to read comments from golfers who have actually played #2. I know several fine players around here who have played it and are less than impressed.

Chris,

As a variation on this, how about "Reports from the Tour" from members attending tournaments? For example, Don and Jake sound like they will be going to The International and, maybe, the Women's Open. I hope to be going to The Masters again next year.

Chris, I would have to agree with you, stick to equipment reviews. For one thing, we can all buy a Cleveland Launcher 460 "locally", if we want, but how many of us can play a course in Kansas, much less want to. Apologies to any one still living in Kansas.
