Hi all,
Utility woods boast about being effective on fairway, fairway bunkers, tight lies & rough. I would like to ask a few questions.Hope people who have used utility woods can help.

1)Basically are utilities as effective as manufacturer claims? or is it just slaes gimmicks?

2)I heard that utilitys are used by people who cant get ball airborne with normal irons. If u can launch ball well with normal irons, we wont need a utility.how true is this?

3)i heard from a salesman saying that utilities are used by seniors with lower swing speed so as to ease their game.how true is this?

4)i heard that utilities with its wide sole is hard to "take divot" compared to irons. How true is this again?does taking divot at fairway good?

5)If i can handle my long iron well, do i still need a utility?

6)i am considering getting a Tourstage J-max Bazooka Iron-wood.anyone used that have any recommendations?
