Has anyone heard of or used "The Dave Way" to get rid of a slice? Is it worth the investment? Are there any reviews other than on his website? Any info would be of intrest.
Thanks
Steve

Can't say as how I have ever heard of it. Where did you hear of it? I would think that a lesson from any decent golf instructor would do just as much. Mention that you have a slice and that's what you want to correct when you set up the lesson, and you should be on your way. Good luck with straightening your ball flight.

I believe the guy’s name is Dave Moore. I have listed his website bellow if anyone wants to check it out. I thought it looked interesting and with 4 simple steps/drills it seemed like something I could easily benefit from.
I’m not against seeing a pro, but I was not very successful with the last golf school I went to. I walked away with very little tools/drills to use that I felt were effective. My swing was worse off then when I started and it has left me not knowing what to do. I can hardly make good consistent contact with the ball and my problem has worsened. My “power fade” as a friend and I call it is very frustrating at this point. I am a good enough athlete to fix it if I know what to work on and have the ability to get some feedback. I was a high level track and field thrower and very aware of my body and feeling movement.
As a side note I have the ability to play both right and left handed with my strength being lefty. (I slice both ways) I am a bit mixed handed with things for example I throw a ball and write right handed but kick a ball and swing a bat lefty. I often wondered if this is part of my problem with my mechanics.
Any thoughts would be beneficial.
Thanks
Steve

in my time, a grip adjustment is the quickest and often most effective way.

obviously and out to in swingpath is a cause of the problem, but a change in grip will make an IMMEDIATE impact to help.

from there, getting an inside swing path takes time, practice, and learning, but a grip change is a great bandaid.

I've been outside in most of my golfing life and for my money The Inside Approach has really helped me get closer to inside out. I'll be using it today, in fact. The price has come way down on it, but if you want to spend almost nothing you can go to any plumbing supply shop and get what you need to make one for about $10.

Hi JW, I just finished building my own copy of the inside approach swing aid and I got enough parts to build 3 of them for $10.00. I don't need one as I don't have a slice, but I wanted to see what it would take to build one and I do know a few golfers that do have a slice and could use the help. They sell for $60 and you can build one for less than $4. Quite a profit there.

Hi JamesP, you might want to be a little more careful with what you ask. I just went to the "dave's way" site and the file you want someone to "send" you, cost $47.00. Asking someone to send you the file is asking that person to commit "fraud". You may not care about commiting fraud, but the guy you are asking to commit fraud for you might not want to spend time in jail with you. Posting your email address, you just opened yourself up to a nice law suit. That wasn't too smart.
