#13932 - 01/17/07 07:15 PM ok..what about the Legends at Myrtle Beach?
srushing srushing Hogan Registered: 10/28/06 Posts: 1820 Loc: North Carolina	Since no one's played MyrtleWood at MB, how about the Legends courses? I've played a couple of them through the years but we may be hitting them as one of our courses for the trip. As I recall they have 3 courses (Parkland, Mooreland and Heathland. Anyone played them enough to give some feedback? _________________________ The reason the pro tells you to keep your head down is so you can't see him laughing.

Don, she's in New Bern area right? That shouldn't be too bad a trip down to Myrtle, plus there along the Little River/NC border area there are some very nice courses as well, Thistle, Tidewater, Sea Trails, etc. Hope you find the time and $$$ to get out that way... _________________________ The reason the pro tells you to keep your head down is so you can't see him laughing.

wildhorsered wildhorsered Amateur Registered: 11/06/05 Posts: 37 Loc: Cannifton, ON	My wife and I are heading down to Sunset Beach in a few weeks. Golf school, etc. etc. at Sea Trail. I plan on stopping in at Legends to see what it is like. Maybe stay there next year. I really like the looks of the Heathland and Moorland courses. Chuck

Heathlands, a links course, is very nicely manicured and really interesting to play. Very different type of layout for Myrtle Beach. Then off to Moorland, a Fazio challenge. Not to everyone's likes with sweeping elevations and those monster deep bunkers. Parkland, a very traditional type of course, winds through the nicest scenery and forests. Its really beautiful, fun to play, in great shape and my favorite. The nice thing about Legends is that the courses are very different allowing you to enjoy variations in play and style. Each has its own challenges, look and feel. I highly recommend.
