Hey, just was reading the latest issue of Golf Magazine and in the British Open preview section, they actually mention my course! It's in a side story on "10 to Forget" which is listing 10 courses that have hosted big time events though the courses were apparently not very memorable. So I didn't say it was a flattering mention, just mentioned.

Which course of the ten is yours?

Don, We're #7 on the list, Tanglewood Park. A few other noteables on the list: Belfry (#2) , Pinehurst #2 (#3), and Carnoustie (#9)...so all in all, not bad company....

Now this is interesting..., in the latest issue of Golf Magazine, under Escapes, my course again is listed, this time as "great PGA championship venues you can play..." So one month we get drilled by one author, and the next month we get complemented. Oh well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

Anyway, they also suggested playing Fossil Trace, as they were listing places to play in Colorado. They gave it 4 stars for ambience, 4 stars for challenge and 4.5 stars for value. I'm looking forward to playing there...
